Leanne Ritter, BID, Principal | Leanne holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Manitoba and has been practicing professionally for over 20 years. Leanne’s commercial project experience has ranged from large public spaces to 100 room hotels, with a focus on boutique hotels and restaurant design. Her design work and strong client relationships has set high standards for the firm providing the personalized service and attention to detail needed to produce interior packages for unique urban and resort locations. Since relocating to Calgary Leanne has been part of a multifamily development team, involved in all aspects of the projects from architectural, interiors, marketing and sales consulting
Vicki Pearson, ADID, Principal | Vicki provides over 30 years of professional interior design experience, specifically related to large hospitality projects focusing on the properties’ extensive public and food & beverage facilities as well as guest room, recreational and administration areas. Upon graduation from Kwantlen College in 1983, Vicki worked with CHIL (Coordinated Hotel Interiors Ltd) in Vancouver for 10 years, becoming the senior designer in charge of all phases of design with a strong emphasis on cost control, facility management planning and FF&E budgets. Vicki has traveled extensively, working and living in Barbados, Italy and China, including setting up what is now Porada’s original office in Guangzhou, China.
David Chang, BID, RID, Principal | David Chang, R.I.D. has over 23 years of experience in commercial and residential interior design and management experience in Canada and Asia. Born in Taiwan and educated in the US and Canada, he graduated from California State University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture. A design director in some of Vancouver’s leading design firms until 2001, David received several awards for his innovative design work. Relocating to China 11 years ago, David oversees the interior design and production teams in the Beijing and Guangzhou offices. David continues to provide excellent design service with several renowned top 10 real estate developers in China such as Hopson Group, Fuli Group and Kingold Group. Fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese with a basic knowledge of Japanese, David’s expertise bridges European and Asian culture and design.
Jay Xu, B.Arch M.Arch, Architectural Design Director | Jay Xu holds a Bachelor degree in Architecture and Master degree in Urban Planning fro China Southern institute of Technology. In 2003, Jay became a registered urban architect in China and joined David’s team in 2003 to provide his expertise in architectural design and planning.
Clyde Chang, BA, Managing Director | With years of managing experiences in vast business sectors ranging from design, construction, financial firms to a technology company in New York, Clyde is currently a managing director of Porada Design / DCDA with extensive involvement in the company’s development and expansion in the Chinese market. Clyde was born in Taipei and educated in the US and Canada with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
